A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also broken them in well that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where were you able to get your pair?
Cettire had them on sale and I clicked “buy” right away!
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .
How much do they cost?
When I bought my pair in April, I paid $385.43, but their standard price is around $514.
You can expect to pay between $410 and seventeen hundred depending on their level of detail.
How is the fit?
They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.
Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
Is the comfort worth it?
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in..
How do they perform over time?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is worth it. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also go with everything.

How does the sizing run?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36. Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good right away. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since they help with airflow. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in synthetic materials. Also, they’re already distressed so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid.
Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
